There is no need to obtain a Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) for an existing tenancy. Once obtained, a certificate remains valid for up to 10 years. (See more info on this and more see the News And Events page) On August 1st 2007 the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) became a mandatory part of the Home Information Pack. This is an EU directive in compliance with the Housing Act 2004 and the Home Information Pack Regulations 2007.
